"The latest rendition of Clicquot's emblematic NV Brut Yellow Label contains around 35% reserve wines—mostly from the last five vintages—and was finished with 10 grams per liter dosage. Offering up aromas of warm bread, peach, citrus oil and crushed chalk, it's medium to full-bodied, ample and fleshy, with a sweet core of fruit marked by a touch of sweetness from its dosage, concluding with a clean, nicely defined finish. Almost 20 million bottles are produced every year."

"Ripe apple, nectarine, quite pithy and phenolic. Medium body with mushroom autolysis. It's a champagne in the way that a Golf is a car: you can only judge it for what it's trying to be, and it is successful by that measure. "

"Toasty and generous with lemon freshness, this also has quite some dried-pear and peach aromas from mature elements of the blend, plus a touch of spice at the long, structured finish. The cuvée is based on 2015 and is 50% pinot noir, 30% chardonnay and 20% pinot meunier. Reserve wines make up more than one third of the blend."
