"The 2022 Meursault Village contains no new oak, as usual. The lively bouquet has enticing scents of dried honey, peppermint and orange pith. This just grows in the glass. The palate is medium-bodied with a smooth, slightly viscous texture and fine acidity. It's quite spicy with a dash of stem ginger towards the persistent finish. Very promising."

"Riper citrus than the Bourgogne but with the freshness of lime leaf and grapefruit. Dry, chalky, lots of friction making this a more mineral style of Meursault."

"Made from twelve plots in all, using one to five year old barrels. Pale in colour with a lime tint. The nose is not yet very forthcoming but the balance on the palate is exquisite. White fruit, a little bit in the rounder style of old but this will not become buttery. Instead, it is a delightful mouthful of orchard fruit with a good follow through of natural acidity. Drink from 2027-2034."
