About us

My name is Gus McLean. Having studied chemistry at St Andrews, wine is a strange route to take, but I’d argue it’s a natural progression. I started in the wine trade over 20 years ago working for Fields Wine Merchant (now FMV), the wholesale arm of Berry Bros & Rudd, and I became the UK fine wine manager at Direct Wines. Having been there for 17 years it was time to set out on my own.
