Storage & delivery

We store both our own wines and those of our customers at London City Bond’s Burton Gateway site. This 100,000 square foot facility, opened in 2016, is one of the most technologically advanced wine storage centres in the UK. It offers fully active temperature and humidity control, making it an ideal environment for the long-term storage of fine wine. We currently charge £16 per case, or £8 per half case, per year, for customers to store their wines with us.

We also rely on LCB’s dedicated network of drivers and vehicles to deliver wines directly to our customers. While this may come at a slightly higher cost to us than using general courier services, LCB specialises in the transportation of fragile, high-value cases. You can rest assured that your wines are being handled and delivered with the utmost care by experienced, diligent professionals. Duty paid delivery to customers is charged at a flat rate of £9.99 per consignment. Bonded transfers to other storage facilities are charged at £15 per consignment.

Testimonials

I first met Gus back in 2008 and since then have been impressed with his knowledge and enthusiasm for wine. He has introduced me to many vintners of whose wines I would not have had the information or experience to source and subsequently enjoy. He has always taken time to understand my wine preferences and I have come to trust his judgement over many years and will continue to do so.

Gus provides integrity to the process of buying & selling fine wine. His advice is always aimed at ensuring I purchase with all the information to hand whether buying for my own enjoyment or for future resale. I am delighted with the service I have received.

Gus has been looking after me for over ten years. Whether it is being introduced to Canadian ice wine or buying premium Bordeaux 2019 Gus has delivered. Combined with him a thoroughly decent bloke makes it easy for him to be my number one port of call for all my wine choices.
