"The 2023 d'Aiguilhe, a blend of 90% Merlot and 10% Cabernet Franc, reveals aromas of dark wild berries, cassis and mulberries intertwined with a gently oaky touch. More structuring than Clos Marsalette, the Pessac-Léognan owned by the Von Neipperg family, it’s medium-bodied, concentrated and rich with structuring tannins and an oaky, firm finish."
Yohan Castaing, April 2024, RobertParker.com
"The 2023 Château d'Aiguilhe has a light nose, just a little herbaceous at first, tightly wound black fruit with a distinct marine influence. The palate is medium-bodied with powdery tannins, cohering nicely toward the finish, so that after a "wobbly start" it finishes with a bit of panache. A second bottle just tapered away a bit short."
Neal Martin, February 2026, Vinous.com
"The 2023 d'Aiguilhe is laced with plummy dark fruit, mocha, white pepper, dried flowers, mint and dried herbs. The 2023 has a light savory edge that I did not see en primeur, but it's not overly intrusive."
Antonio Galloni, March 2026, Vinous.com
"Fresh and steely with flint, sliced lemons and hints of stone. Medium-bodied, crisp, clean and crunchy with energetic acidity. Pure sauvignon blanc. Drink now."
