"The 2025 Rayne-Vigneau has a backward nose with dried honey, yellow plum and almond scents, perhaps less forward than some of its peers. The palate is well balanced with a very pure entry, bright acids and a gorgeous, tender yet paradoxically powerful finish. Oh yes!"
Neal Martin, May 2026, Vinous.com
"The 2025 Rayne-Vigneau is a wild, exotic wine. Orange confit, burnt sugar, crème brûlée and candied ginger build in an ample, creamy, rich, luscious Sauternes. This is beautifully done. Extroverted tropical and spice overtones emerge on the close."
Antonio Galloni, April 2026, Vinous.com
"This is rich yet contained, with nothing massive or cloying, but very well put together. Medium- to full-bodied with a subtle savory undertone."
