"The 2025 Haut-Brisson, a blend of 90% Merlot and 10% Cabernet Franc, was vinified in barrels, with malolactic fermentation also carried out in barrel for the corresponding batches. It reveals aromas of dark berries, cassis and blackberry, with a hint of mocha emerging with aeration. Medium- to full-bodied, dense and powerful, it’s enveloping on the palate and built around a firm, structuring tannic frame that carries through to the finish."
Yohan Castaing, April 2026, RobertParker.com

"The 2025 Haut Brisson has quite a potent nose, although the oak juts out at the moment and impinges on the fruit. The palate is rustic on the entry, with dry tannins, and lacks precision and purity on the finish. I know that this wine can be much better than this."
Neal Martin, May 2026, Vinous.com

"Medium- to full-bodied with a broad expression. Focused, cohesive and well balanced, with precise tannins."
Jacobo García Andrade, April 2026, JamesSuckling.com

"Intense and concentrated, clear tannic frame with lovely juice underneath. Cocoa bean, espresso, saffron, pumice stone, very enjoyable, bright and slow unroll, will benefit from softening over ageing, full of energy. Harvest September 3 to 17. 35% new oak. 26 hl/ha yield. 3.5 pH."
Jane Anson, April 2026, JaneAnson.com

"Fresh and aromatic on the nose, fragrant with touches of blackcurrant, pepper and violets. Quite a lean, straight style with fine tannins that have slightly rustic edges to them just giving a firm frame but there’s juicy acidity and lovely purity to the red berry fruit. Mouthwatering, sharp and lively. Will be good to re-taste when it settles. 3.5pH. "
