"The 2025 Sigalas Rabaud has a nicely detailed bouquet with plenty of botrytised fruit. The palate is fresh and bright on the entry, very pure, with quince, peach and apricot notes. Just a little oak to be subsumed towards the finish (at the moment it imparts a touch of heaviness), but I am sure it will eventually come good. Excellent."

"Full-bodied and exuberant, with fruit and sweetness coming together and creating a dense and rich texture. This is big and sweet."
James Suckling, April 2026, JamesSuckling.com
"A ton of opulence straight off the nose here, and on the palate also, quince, peach juice, preserved citrus, mango, bitter almond, silky texture, concentrated and enjoyable."
Jane Anson, April 2026, JaneAnson.com
"Friendly and upfront, a lovely lick of quite bright acidity before turning much more mineral with flint, wet stones, struck match and a cool, crisp graphite edge. Very pure, very gentle, not overly sweet with mouthwatering acidity but hidden behind the complexity of flavour and layers of texture – spice, bitterness, freshness and fruit. I like it but still seems quite quiet for now."
