"The 2022 Marjosse, from the Entre-Deux-Mers property belonging to Pierre Lurton, has a saline bouquet with blackcurrant and wild hedgerow scents. The palate is medium-bodied with a fresh entry, supple tannins and a dash of black pepper and graphite toward the finish. Is this Bordeaux's best bargain? Quite probably. This is a must-buy."

"The 2022 Marjosse is a bright, nervy red. Floral notes, orange peel, mint and white pepper lend notable energy throughout. Readers will find an atypically vibrant wine for the year. More than anything else, the 2022 represents a pretty significant shift for Marjosse toward a style that focuses on greater freshness than in the past."
Antonio Galloni, January 2025, Vinous.com
"Ripe cherry aromatics, firm tannins that are holding everything in place, but generous enough to get things revved up and keep focus on the fruit. This is exactly what you look for in a smaller chateaux in a vintage like 2022 - it's easy to drink with plenty of personality. 20% barrels for ageing, the rest in vat. Frost at the beginning of April, reduced the quantity and meant they focused a little more on Merlot this year, but there is still black pepper and spiced violet notes from the old Malbec. Jean-Marc Domme winemaker since March 2018, Pierre Lurton owner. A value buy."
