"The 2023 Reynon comes across a bit muddled and slightly volatile on the nose. The palate is medium-bodied with quite fine tannins, moderate weight but it tapers toward a rather dull finish. The white is far superior this year."
Neal Martin, February 2026, Vinous.com
"Cassis, bark, graphite and subtle ripe blackberries. The palate is medium- to full-bodied, structured with firm tannins and a focused core of dark fruit. A blend of 70% merlot, 15% cabernet sauvignon and 15% petit verdot. Better from 2028."
James Suckling, January 2026, JamesSuckling.com
"What a revelation, and for a great price. Sweet ripe fruit aromas (both red and black) with a touch of floral introduce a smooth palate exuding bright and ripe fruit and a refined tannic aspect overall. Quite a nice expression for the vintage! Coming from a variety of soils including deep gravel on clay at the top of the hill, with cooler limestone area at the mid-slope, the wine has no rough edges – great for the vintage – even if it lacks the ripe mid-palate concentration of a sunnier vintage. Ageing in 33% new oak will broaden the palate."
