"The 2021 Shiraz Barossa spent 24 months in older French and American oak and delivers generously proportioned aromas of crushed chocolate, tar and blackberry with strong cedary oak tones. Fleshy with a subtle acid bite from the vintage, this is a handsome and approachable Barossan wine best enjoyed young."

"Full-bodied classicism. Archetypal Barossan shiraz, hitting all the marks: power, polished oak, florals, very ripe darker to bluer fruit tones and a lick of heat across a sumptuous finish. What's not to like? Drink or hold. Screw cap."
Ned Goodwin, July 2023, JamesSuckling.com
"This veritable kaleidoscope of aromas and flavours hails from Elderton’s Eden Valley, Greenock and Nuriootpa vineyards. Soaring Eden Valley black pepper and florals charm from the get-go, with red liquorice, star anise, clove, dried herbs and a lick of espresso chiming in on the palate. Lively acidity teases out the fresh-picked, palate-staining blueberry and blackberry fruit. A fine fretwork of mineral tannins embeds the flavours. Great value for money."
