The Tbilvino Qvevris Kisi, is made from a grape variety called Kisi. Yields are kept unusually low to concentrate the juice, which is then fermented in these buried clay pots for 5–6 months. The result is a amber-orange wine, full of apricot and peach flavours, with a wonderful grippy texture reminiscent of another favourite of mine, Vie di Romans Dessimis, if you've had the latter, you'll likely get on with this Georgian too I'd expect.
