"Exhibiting aromas of dark berries, cedary pencil shavings and oak vanillin, the 2023 Grand-Puy-Ducasse is medium-bodied, firm and chewy, with a somewhat herbal finish."
William Kelley, April 2024, RobertParker.com

"The 2023 Grand-Puy-Ducasse has a plusher bouquet compared to its Pauillac peers, though it manages to retain satisfying delineation, raspberry and blackcurrant mixed with tobacco and forest floor. The palate is medium-bodied with grainy tannins, well-judged acidity, moderate length with a minty finish. Drink over the next 15 to 20 years."
Neal Martin, February 2026, Vinous.com

"The 2023 Grand-Puy Ducasse is a real beauty. Aromatic and vibrant, with gorgeous mid-weight structure, the 2023 is seriously beautiful right out of the gate. Lavender, cloves, menthol, graphite, dried herbs and incense are all finely sketched in the glass. This energetic Pauillac is wonderfully rendered. What a delight."
Antonio Galloni, March 2026, Vinous.com

"Currants, berries and spices with a fresh, elegant, herbal edge. Fine-grained on the palate, with creamy tannins and a structured, integrated finish. Vertical but pretty polished. 52% cabernet sauvignon, 44% merlot and 4% petit verdot. Drink from 2027."
James Suckling, January 2026, JamesSuckling.com

"Cocoa bean, liquorice, cassis, crayon, this is subdued, with reserved cassis and bilberry. Has held the line from En Primeur, and showcases a new era at the estate, if they can maintain momentum. Benjamin Cassoulet technical director. New winery now complete."
Jane Anson, March 2026, JaneAnson.com
