"The 2023 Chambolle-Musigny 1er Cru Les Combottes has turned out especially well, exhibiting notes of sweet red berries, rose petals, orange zest and spices. Medium to full-bodied, supple and fleshy, with a pure core of fruit, lively acids and a long, mineral finish, it's a quintessential Chambolle-Musigny."

"The 2023 Chambolle-Musigny Aux Combottes 1er Cru uses 30% whole bunch from 70-year-old vines. The nose has exquisite delineation and more mineralité than preceding cuvées. It's airy yet with real presence. The palate is medium-bodied with slightly chalky tannins, quite tart red fruit notes and a sorbet-fresh finish that lingers in the mouth. Bon vin."

"Next door to Aux Echanges, on a gentle slope, with more limestone. 70-year-old vines in good health, so 40% whole bunch was possible. Medium density ruby. Good raspberry fruit here, a little more personality than Aux Echanges, some alpine strawberries, with very good length. A sense of crisp precision, while the flavours remain in the mouth much longer. "
