"The 2025 La Tour Figeac has a reserved nose with black fruit, loam and tobacco, a little Left Bank in style, though I appreciate the delineation and focus. The palate is medium-bodied with grainy tannins and fine acidity. There is a patina of dark chocolate that emerges towards the finish, which has good weight, but I am hoping it musters more finesse by the time of bottling."

"The 2025 La Tour Figeac is soft, open-knit and quite pretty. Cabernet Franc overtones lift a core of ripe Merlot fruit in a soft, understated Saint-Émilion. Sandy and gravelly soils yield notable aromatic presence, which is amplified by 15% stems. This is beautifully done. Tasted two times."

"Deep and well worked plum and cassis fruit on the nose, attractive dark spice, capsicum and olive pit. High Cabernet Franc, fragrant rose petals and iris flowers, fruit forward. 12hl casks for ageing, 3.7 pH. Harvest September 3 to 16. 30% new oak, 27hl/h yield. Sand and gravel soils."
