"The 2025 Lynch-Moussas, which Frédéric Castèja told me will also be available in demijohns, is quite understated on the nose and gradually opens with blackberry, bilberry and sous-bois scents, a touch of cedar emerging with time. The palate is medium-bodied with a fresh, quite sapid opening. Fine mid-palate weight and bundles of freshness, this is not the longest Pauillac out there but it marks the continuing improvement of this Grand Vin. Sure to be keenly priced."

"The 2025 Lynch Moussas is so classy. Silky and refined, the 2025 is all charm. All the elements are so well-balanced. Readers will find a Pauillac of undeniable appeal. This is so precise. The 2025 is going to need a few years to soften, as the tannins are quite imposing, and yet there is so much wine. A major step forward"
Antonio Galloni, April 2026, Vinous.com
"This is more structured, medium- to full-bodied, more chewy but balanced, with dark fruit, grainy but appealing, incisive with a sense of generosity. Pretty and subtle al dente currants. A blend of 77% cabernet sauvignon and 33% merlot."
James Suckling, April 2026, JamesSuckling.com
"A good vintage for Lynch Moussas, studded through with cloves, white pepper, sage, cassis, plenty of Pauillac character, should be ready to go in 5 to 6 years rather than the classic 10 for this appellation. 56% new oak, Axel Marchal and Valerie Lavigne consultants."
