"Exhibiting aromas of dark berries and sweet new oak, the 2023 Siran is medium to full-bodied, dense and youthfully structured. It's a solid effort."
William Kelley, April 2024, RobertParker.com
"The 2023 Siran has a well-defined and focused bouquet, blackberry and graphite, a little Pauillac in style. The palate is medium-bodied with slightly grainy tannins, but this is well balanced and definitely fresh and vital. Classically styled with good substance on the finish, it retains Margaux-like finesse and silky texture on the finish. Very fine."
Neal Martin, February 2026, Vinous.com
"The 2023 Siran is a tasty, easygoing Margaux to drink now and over the next decade or so. Super-ripe black cherry, chocolate, new leather, licorice, menthol and sweet spice are front and center. The 2023 is a fine drink, although I would prefer to see a touch more complexity."
Antonio Galloni, March 2026, Vinous.com
"An approachable Margaux with good fruit expression, showing berries, cassis, plums and elegant spices. A touch of cured meat as well. Medium-bodied with fine-grained tannins and a long, pretty cohesive finish. A blend of 49% merlot, 41% cabernet sauvignon and 10% petit verdot. Drink or hold."
James Suckling, January 2026, JamesSuckling.com
"One of the insider wines of Margaux, a poster child for quality outside of the 1855 classified ranks. Reduction gunsmoke opening, then softens to rose petals, liqourice root, cassis, bilberry and damson fruit. Great stuff, with tension and a mouthwatering finish, owner Edouard Miailhe and winemaker Marjolaine Defrance. 35% new oak for ageing. A buy."
