"The 2023 Clos Floridène offers dark berry fruit mixed with light tobacco and graphite scents on the nose. Perhaps more Médoc than Pessac in style. The palate is medium-bodied with grainy tannins, grippy, with a slightly oaky finish. Not bad, but the white is definitely superior this year."
Neal Martin, February 2026, Vinous.com
"The 2023 Clos Floridène is superb, just as it was en primeur. Readers will find a heady, exuberant wine loaded with character. Inky dark fruit, licorice, new leather, espresso and chocolate are beautifully amplified throughout."
Antonio Galloni, March 2026, Vinous.com
"Cassis, plums and roasted spices on the nose. Tight-grained and slightly austere with some chewy tannins and a juicy, medium-long finish. A blend of 75% cabernet sauvignon and 25% merlot. Try from 2026."
James Suckling, January 2026, JamesSuckling.com
"Spiced plum, intense with fresh acidities, good Cabernet Sauvignon character, slim and savoury. A consistently enjoyable wine from the Dubourdieu family."
