"Made in what Peter-Allan Finlayson calls a “more serious style”, Litigo comes from the clay shale soils of Shaw’s Mountain, adjacent to the Hemel-en-Aarde Ridge. Planted with the 155 clone (and 20% 667), it has clove and tobacco leaf notes from 75% whole clusters, fynbos and rose petal aromas and a core of black cherry and subtle vanilla spice from 20% whole clusters."
