"The 2024 Bellefont Belcier is sensual and perfumed, unfurling in the glass with aromas of violet, mulberries, blackberries and spices mingled with a delicate reductive profile. Medium to full-bodied, enrobing and seamless, it's layered with good depth at the core and velvety tannins that lead to an energetic, calcareous-driven finish. This is a blend of 70% Merlot, 20% Cabernet Franc and 10% Cabernet Sauvignon."

"The 2024 Bellefont-Belcier has a slightly higher-toned bouquet than its peers, with black cherry, blueberry and touches of dark chocolate. The palate is medium-bodied with quite stocky tannins on the entry that render this Saint-Émilion a bit dry and hard, especially toward the end. Maybe this will mellow during its barrel maturation? There is decent substance here, so hopefully this will."

"The 2024 Bellefont-Belcier is one of the best wines I have tasted here in some time. Dark and ample, but not at all overdone, the 2024 is impeccable in its balance. Hints of mocha, espresso, cloves and new leather meld into a core of dark-toned fruit. If the 2024 is representative of what is to come, this is an exciting time for Bellefont-Belcier."

"Very good poise, tension and depth, with a light peppery, mineral and citrusy touch to the fruit. Good fruit here, with medium to full body and elastic, chalky tannins. There is something quite pure and transparent in the middle. So elegant, al-dente and long. An excellent wine from this difficult vintage. 70% merlot, 10% cabernet franc and 10% cabernet sauvignon. Picking between September 26 to October 8."

"Love the deep rich ruby colour here, inky and saline expression that has a ton of texture and interest. The sappy fruits of the year are here balanced and laced with depth and character. Gunsmoke, cold ash, blueberry, raspberry puree, pumice and slate, plenty of life ahead. JC Meyrou estate director, Emmanuelle Fulchi d'Aligny technical director."
