"The 2025 Feytit-Clinet has quite a bit of reduction on the nose, but it blows away to reveal enticing blackberry and bilberry fruit, hints of truffle oil and black pepper. The oak is well integrated. The palate is very well balanced, with a sense of vibrancy, almost urgency, on the entry. Silky smooth tannins, perfectly judged acidity, tender and long on the finish, this might be the best Feytit that I have tasted from barrel, perhaps the "insiders' Pomerol" of the vintage? "

"The 2025 Feytit-Clinet is a wild, exotic beauty. Succulent red/purplish fruit, exotic spice, blood orange, mint and rose petal caress the palate. A kiss of new French oak is nicely judged. Floral top notes pull it all together on the close. Stylistically, proprietor Jeremy Chasseuil has moved away from the darker, more extracted wines of the past. Tasted two times."
Antonio Galloni, April 2026, Vinous.com

"A Merlot-heavy blend of 87% Merlot and 13% Cabernet Franc that will spend 15 months in 65% new French oak, the 2025 Château Feytit Clinet is just brilliant, with a full-bodied, deep, and layered profile packed with blue and black fruits, chocolate, and tobacco. On the palate, it's concentrated and powerful yet stays weightless and flawlessly balanced, with velvety tannins and a great finish. Hitting 14% alcohol, this is up with the crème de la crème of the Right Bank, as well as Bordeaux in general."
Jeb Dunnuck, May 2026, JebDunnuck.com

"Some tobacco, cedar and dark chocolate elements on the nose. There’s a sweetness from the oak with clean, ripe fruit behind so it’s a little cloying and highly charged right now with plenty of toasted elements – vanilla, chocolate – that just detract from the overall enjoyment at this point. Still, there’s good direction and persistence from start to finish. This will resolve beautifully after ageing with a silkiness to the fruit."

"(Pomerol; 87% Merlot; 13% Cabernet Franc; a final yield of an impressive 40 hl/ha; 14.1% alcohol; tasted twice, the second time at Château de Sales). This is not a difficult pick blind, I suspect, even en primeur. It's always one of the most dark stone-fruited of the plateau Pomerols - here a seeming blend of black cherry, blueberry and mulberry, all picked at perfect ripeness and oosing with fresh lip-tainting dark juiciness. There's a seductive swagger and opulence to match on the palate. But, above all, this is fresh, floral (with lovely violet notes), and succulent with a radiant juicy freshness that constantly recharges the palate and sends you back for more. A great success from Jeremy Chasseuil and his family."
