Critic reviews
"The 2024 Fleur Cardinale Blanc has a fresh bouquet with gooseberry, nettle and Granny Smith apple scents that emerge with time. The palate is well balanced, fresh and tangy, with a citric line of acidity and a touch of peach skin on the finish. This has good complexity and is worth seeking out."
Neal Martin, April 2025, Vinous.com
"The 2024 Fleur Cardinale Blanc is brisk, nervy and finely cut. It is a bit lean, especially for a year in which dry whites have a bit more mid-palate presence and overall creaminess. Chalk, mint and white pepper linger on the close."
Antonio Galloni, April 2025, Vinous.com
"Juicy, relaxed, fresh and precise aromatics, and plenty of lift as it gathers power through the palate. Precise, well placed, enjoyable, easy to recommend. Axel Marchal and Valerie Lavigne consultants for the whites here. 38 hl/ha. Harvest: 4 - 11 September"
Jane Anson, April 2025, JaneAnson.com
"Focussed and fresh, this has a zingy appeal on the palate - succulent and juicy lemons with flecks of lime and mango. Both stone fruit and topical fruit combine with a lovely weight and texture - almost rich but give lift by prominent acidity. Very good."
