"The 2023 La Fleur-Pétrus is very attractive, unfurling in the glass with aromas of dark berries, sweet cherries and plums mingled with hints of incense and spices, discreetly framed by new oak. Medium to full-bodied, velvety and layered, it's deep and textural, its rich core of fruit framed by plenty of sweet, powdery tannin."
William Kelley, April 2024, RobertParker.com

"The 2023 La Fleur-Pétrus has a refined bouquet with raspberry, wild strawberry, black truffle and light leather scents that gradually unfold on the nose. Quite classical in style, though I am just seeking a bit more ambition. The palate is medium-bodied with pliant tannins, good mid-weight body and fine grip. There is something slightly Oriental in style toward the finish that shows a touch more vivacity than the Hosanna this year. It stays within its lane, but it is the right lane to be in."
Neal Martin, February 2026, Vinous.com

"The 2023 La Fleur-Pétrus is fabulous. Increasingly, I find it one the most complete Pomerols in the Moueix range. Perhaps, that’s because it comes from numerous parcels throughout the appellation and is therefore a wine that greatly benefits from blending. Bright acids and floral top notes add lift to a core of red-toned fruit. Hints of cedar, sweet pipe tobacco, mint and orange peel linger on the beautifully persistent finish."
Antonio Galloni, April 2024, Vinous.com

"Blackberries, black truffles and hints of cedar, bark and graphite on the nose. Medium- to full-bodied with creamy, polished tannins and a long and flavorful finish. This is tight and well formed, with poised strength. Give it until 2030 to show its magic."
James Suckling, January 2026, JamesSuckling.com
