"The 2025 Saint Georges (Côte Pavie) is very fine. In fact, the 2025 is one of the finest wines I have tasted here. It marries power with energy to a degree that is quite rare. Blood orange, white pepper and chalk add gorgeous brightness as this Saint-Émilion opens in the glass. Lavender, rose petal, mint, chocolate and blood orange flesh out the layers."
Antonio Galloni, April 2026, Vinous.com

"What a gorgeous young red with blackberries, blueberries and hints of crushed stone. Medium-bodied with very integrated tannins and sublime. Best ever? 85% merlot and 15% cabernet franc."
James Suckling, April 2026, JamesSuckling.com

"Ripe red, blue, and black fruits intermixed with leafy herbs, violets, and graphite all shine in the 2025 Château Saint Georges (Côte Pavie), a hidden little gem from a brilliant terroir just beside Pavie that just screams Saint-Emilion. Based on 85% Merlot and 15% Cabernet Franc from clay and limestone soils, it's medium to full-bodied on the palate, with a pure, layered mouthfeel and ultra-fine tannins."
Jeb Dunnuck, May 2026, JebDunnuck.com

"Deep plum colour, this has plenty of grip and character, enjoyable, keeps the edge of gourmet richness that this estate is known for, with the bright acidities of the vintage. 3.42 pH. Harvest September 11 to 19. 25% new oak in 400l casks."
Jane Anson, April 2026, JaneAnson.com

"Pure blackcurrants on the nose. Smooth and supple, this has a feeling of understated confidence about it straight away. Ripe but not fleshy, thicker tannins support cool fruit with some oak edges - cinnamon and clove coming in to give nuance but not overwhelming the expression. Grippy, intense, but also cool, focused, fresh and lively. This has intensity but is not over the top. Firm and tight but feels really well made with lots of detail. 3.42pH. Ageing 16 months, 25% new barrels, 35% one year, 40% two or more years."
