"A gourmand, lively bouquet of cassis, dark berries, violet and flowers prefaces the 2025 Sénéjac. Medium- to full-bodied, juicy and enveloping, it’s built around a core of fruit with good depth and framed by velvety tannins, concluding with a long, structured and elegant finish. Particularly approachable this year, it is a blend of 52% Cabernet Sauvignon, 35% Merlot, 8% Cabernet Franc and 5% Petit Verdot."
Yohan Castaing, April 2026, RobertParker.com

"The 2025 Sénéjac, aged in 25% new oak, has a well-defined, quite estuarine bouquet that opens in the glass. It evokes a sense of place already. The palate is medium-bodied with firm and quite grippy tannins, harmonious but quite "serious" in style. Good complexity and sapidity, this is a classy and attractive Sénéjac that should age well in bottle. A fine Haut-Médoc."
Neal Martin, May 2026, Vinous.com

"Firm, floral, fragrant plum, red cherry, pumice stone and slate tannins, good intensity, this has balance, a little tart on the finish, but has oak-driven charm that will soften further over the next year in bottle. No need to wait too long to begin enjoying. Harvest 11 to 23 September. 25% new oak. 30hl/ha yield."
Jane Anson, April 2026, JaneAnson.com

"Black fruit and fragranced notes on the nose. Smooth and supple, round and really excellently weighted, nothing out of place with plenty of minty cool freshness, licks of graphite, liquorice and wet stones with a softly chalky finish. Excellent bargain this year. Plenty to like, easy to drink with a really classic, approachable aspect. This stands out this year. 3.80pH. A yield of 30hl/ha. 5% Petit Verdot completes the blend. "
