"The 2025 Blanc sec Vieilles Vignes, a blend of 66% Sémillon and 34% Sauvignon Blanc, reflects a slightly higher proportion of Sémillon than usual. It reveals a discreet, refined bouquet of acacia blossom, spice and floral notes. Medium- to full-bodied, it’s both supple and structured, built around a fresh, fruit-driven core that carries through to a long finish. A fine, gently bitter edge brings definition and balance."
Yohan Castaing, April 2026, RobertParker.com

"The 2025 Suduiraut Vieilles Vignes Blanc Sec has a more backward bouquet than the Lions cuvée at the moment, with scents of grapefruit and yellow plum, pressed white flowers emerging with time. The palate is well balanced, with admirable purity, fine depth and attractive texture, with a touch of ginger towards the finish. This has a brightness and seriousness to it that is very attractive. "
Neal Martin, May 2026, Vinous.com

"Like all the whites this year at Suduiraut, the 2025 Grand Vin Blanc Sec Vieilles Vignes has more Sémillon in the blend. It offers a striking mix of Sémillon richness and vibrant energy that is impossible to miss. I especially admire the wine's tension. Pear, dried lemon peel, chalk, mint and dried flowers build into the intense, saline-drenched finish. What a wine. Élevage will be nine months in French oak, 14% new. "
Antonio Galloni, April 2026, Vinous.com

"Clearly more luscious than its sibling wine Lions de Suduiraut, sets out its stall with depth and tension, apricot, nectarine, white mango, quince. This is selected from the same terroir as the main Suduiraut wine. 14% new oak for ageing, 3.39pH. "

"Honeyed and fragrant peach and lemons on the nose with some floral elements and almond flecks. Round and succulent with a gorgeous texture but also so clean and precise, sitting on a cool base with touches of vanilla, cream, anise, cumin, bitterness and herbal aspects. I love this. Relatively quiet right now, less fruity and more powerful, mineral and floral, very nuanced. I expect this will grow in stature and flavour, but this is already great. Highest proportion of Semillon in the blend. A yield of 15 hl/ha (could reasonably hope for 25-28hl/ha). One or two tries through the vineyard for the dry wine, same process as for the sweet. "

"(Bordeaux blanc; 66% Sémilllon; 34% Sauvignon Blanc; pH 3.39; 13.7% alcohol; tasted at Pichon Baron with Christian Seely). The highest proportion here of Sémillon ever. So charming and gracious, rippling and pulsating in its well-distributed freshness. Great purity giving great intensity, reinforced by the relatively narrow frame the wine takes in the mouth. Very vivid and dynamic. Gives Les Griffons a good run for its money and in qualitative terms, it's a dead heat! "
