"The 2021 Tronquoy (formerly Tronquoy-Lalande) has turned out very nicely in bottle, offering up deep aromas of cassis, minty blackberries, pencil shavings and burning embers, followed by a medium to full-bodied, layered and velvety palate that's quite fleshy and concentrated for the vintage, with lively acids and a long, saline finish."
William Kelley, February 2024, RobertParker.com

"Chocolate, dark berry fruit and enticing five spice aromas here. Juicy, medium-bodied and also well-framed with bright acidity and creamy, spicy layers. Deliciously open for the appellation. Drink from 2024."
James Suckling, November 2023, JamesSuckling.com

"A blend of 48% Cabernet Sauvignon, 40% Merlot, and the rest Petit Verdot, the 2021 Château Tronquoy is a more elegant, pretty wine, which is certainly what the vintage delivered. Ripe cherries, mulberries, violets, and some tobacco and earthy notes all flow to a pretty, seamless, graceful, and medium-bodied Saint-Estèphe with supple tannins and an outstanding finish. It's not massive but certainly shines for its overall balance, purity, and length. Give bottles just 2-4 years and enjoy over the following 15. It's an outstanding wine."
Jeb Dunnuck, April 2024, JebDunnuck.com

"Nice menthol fragrance to the nose with some pink flowers, raspberries, aniseed, liquorice and cinnamon. Juicy and fresh, there's lift to this, a good bounce to the profile still with a salty, mineral core that drives in one straight line. Well made with finesse and elegance, structure from the Cabernet with herbal aspects and a fine grained tannins. A good effort."
