"A bone-dry 'non-fortified Xeres' that is well worth your time. Citrus, wax, grilled almonds, lime zest, oyster shell, particularly high salinity in this vintage, along with fragrant toasted spice. As always this is an unusual, standout wine with a ton of personality, from owners and winemakers Willy Perez and Ramiro Ibanez."

"Brilliant and beautiful in equal measure. Nutty and zesty, with a delicate and subtle white florality but also saffron and a little wild floral honey. There’s the distinct impression of richness from the aromatics. And that is confirmed, above all by the viscosity in the mouth that is immediately evident from the attack. The fruit is vibrantly bright, crisp and vivid and it’s drawn tightly and inexorably to a sinuous spine (for this is not at all a linear wine though one very much chiselled and structured by its chalkiness). Sublime and every bit as impressive as the first release. 95+."
