"Previously labeled Les Combottes but now renamed Aux Combottes to more accurately reflect its location, the 2024 Chambolle-Musigny 1er Cru Aux Combottes offers an aromatic profile of peony, orange peel, violet and timut pepper, mingled with woodsmoke. On the palate, it is medium- to full-bodied, charming and vibrant, displaying an elegant, perfumed profile and chalky finish. The wine derives from 70-year-old vines rooted in soils composed largely of limestone."
Kristaps Karklins, February 2026, RobertParker.com

"The 2024 Chambolle-Musigny Aux Combottes 1er Cru comprises three barrels this year. Despite the reduction on the nose, there appears to be good complexity and vigour. The palate is medium-bodied with supple tannins, silky smooth in texture with a fine bead of acidity. Yes, there is quite a bit of oak as it is 100% new (François Frères) but it should be absorbed with three years in bottle."
Neal Martin, January 2026, Vinous.com

"This is also noticeably reduced and impossible to fairly assess. By contrast, there is excellent freshness and vibrancy to the super-sleek and silky-textured flavors that display fine length on the balanced, lightly austere and stony finale. A classic Chambolle of lace and grace. (90-93)/2032+"

"A glowing ruby purple. The bouquet is more classically Chambolle with some violets tucked in to the red fruits. Vivacious, with good acidity, the oak more in the background, and fine persistence. Drink from 2029-2036. Tasted Nov 2025."
