"The 2022 Chambolle-Musigny Vieilles Vignes has turned out especially well, offering up pretty aromas of raspberries and cherries mingled with notions of violets and licorice. Medium to full-bodied, ample and fleshy, with a pure and succulent core of fruit, lively acids and a mineral finish, it's suave and harmonious."

"The 2022 Chambolle-Musigny Vieilles Vignes has 20% whole bunches this year. This is nicely composed on the nose with pure, expressive, well-defined red fruit. The palate is medium-bodied, and the 30% new oak is neatly enmeshed, just losing a little concentration in the final third as it tapers in slightly. But it will fill it with further time in barrel."
Neal Martin, November 2023
"A discreet application of oak still easily allows the attractively floral-suffused and very fresh red currant and cherry scents to be appreciated. I very much like the mouthfeel of the lilting and almost delicate medium weight flavors that exude a subtle minerality on the equally youthfully austere finale that delivers excellent length for a villages-level wine." Outstanding.
Allen Meadows, January 2024
"Cask sample. Bright red-berry and cherry fruit. Vibrant, crisp acidity. Very Chambolle on the palate with juicy, ripe strawberry fruit and a lick of acidity to keep the palate fresh. Approachable already, not massively complex but lots of enjoyment to be had, early on. (AWH)"

"One third each of whole bunches and new wood. A glowing fresh mid purple. Here we find the elegance that was lacking in the Marsannay, plus some oak which is integrating nicely. Good tension, a fresh enough acidity, dark fruit with some violets, and a long distinguished finish. Drink from 2028-2034."
