"Good medium red. Medicinal red cherry on the nose. Supple, sweet and spicy, with a round middle and a flavor of menthol. I found myself wanting a bit more cut and lift. The wine's oakiness gives the finish a rather strict aspect today. Grivot says the 2000 Clos Vougeot is silky and delicious right now."
