"The 2022 Meursault Village contains no new oak, as usual. The lively bouquet has enticing scents of dried honey, peppermint and orange pith. This just grows in the glass. The palate is medium-bodied with a smooth, slightly viscous texture and fine acidity. It's quite spicy with a dash of stem ginger towards the persistent finish. Very promising."

"(mostly from Puligny vines; bottled under screwcap). An exuberantly pinot-like nose freely offers up spicy red berry fruit aromas. The sleek, fresh and delicious barely middleweight flavors possess excellent delineation on the mildly rustic, refreshing and solidly complex finale. This is lovely for its level and should make for good quality drinking over the short to medium-term. 87/2025+"
Allen Meadows, April 2024
"Riper citrus than the Bourgogne but with the freshness of lime leaf and grapefruit. Dry, chalky, lots of friction making this a more mineral style of Meursault."
