"The 2022 Chorey-lès-Beaune Village comes from the Domaine's six hectares affected by the hail in June. It has to shake off a bit of reduction on the nose. The bouquet offers black cherries mixed with raspberry coulis. The palate is very smooth on the entry, with fine tannins and pastille-like purity, with a dash of white pepper on the chocolate-tinged finish. Easy-drinking Chorey-Les-Beaune"

The succulent, caressing and seductively textured flavors possess a bit more volume before culminating in a bitter pit fruit-inflected finish that offers better length and depth. "Another charming purple colour, with delicious fruit on the nose. Extravagant fruit, the floral side of raspberry, a little stricter on the palate than the Bourgogne, but this will absolutely do what a Tollot Beaut Chorey should do. Drink from 2026-2030. Tasted: October 2023."
