Critic reviews
"Still in barrel in February 2025, the 2023 Cabernet Sauvignon boasts dark notes of cedar mulch, earth, black olives and black cherries. It's medium- to full-bodied, velvety and intensely flavored, with a long, earthy and savory finish. It shows excellent balance, along with unusually refined tannins for the Cabernet Sauvignon, which can sometimes be a bit coarse when compared to the Rubicon. "
Joe Czerwinski, June 2025, RobertParker.com
"The 2023 Cabernet Sauvignon turned out beautifully. Aromatic, pliant and medium in body, the 2023 shows all the natural restraint of this cool, late-ripening year. Crushed flowers, bright red-toned fruit, blood orange, cedar and sweet pipe tobacco are some of the notes that grace this nuanced, inviting Cabernet Sauvignon from Ingelnook "
Antonio Galloni, November 2025, Vinous.com
"The classic Cab from Inglenook is always worth looking out for, and here it delivers sleek, intense bitter black chocolate, cassis fruit, eucalyptus, black tea, red liquorice, wet stones and espresso. Todd Devincenzi director, Philippe Bascaules winemaking director. 95ha estate."
