"Gorgeously refined and elegant, cool at the core if a little closed at first. Subtle blueberry and walnut shell and floral notes, from the Cabernet Franc. Gorgeous texturally. Sheets of cashmere. The tannins are remarkable and this is cool to the core. Dense and compact, spherical and with almost concentric circles of increasing density towards the core. Considerable tannin still to resolve, this is a wine of great aging potential that is really only just starting to reveal some of its charms. 97."
