I’ve worked with this producer for a couple of years now. The previous vintage from another site caused quite a stir after receiving a hefty score from Neal Martin. I rarely find myself at odds with Neal, who awarded the 2023 Grand Bruyère 92 points in his report on Friday, while giving this ‘only’ 90. Still a very strong review given the price point – but I believe this is the finer wine in 2023 (and I stock both). It’s more open and instantly appealing at this stage, with a lovely freshness that makes it the more versatile choice. Sorry, Neal!
