"The 2023 Bin 150 Marananga Shiraz is unapologetically from Marananga, in Barossa Valley. It is red-fruited and structural, with layers of spices and earthy notes. The tannins are soft, profuse and also firm in their shaping, and it all serves to cup the fruit. The contrast of the style of this cuvée with the season that birthed it works so well in this glass, better than the Bin 28 from the same vintage. This is a magnificent wine. Matured for 17 months in a combination of one-year-old and seasoned French and American oak. 14.5% alcohol, sealed under natural cork."

"Very dense blackish purple. Very perfumed! Liquorice. Very smooth and polished. Dry end but a little porty in a nice way. Lovely, polished, sweet and fresh. Salty and sweet but not too dense."
