"The 2023 Saint-Véran La Grande Bruyère comes from marn and silex soils. It was a little muted on the nose and demanded more coaxing than other cuvées. Lime and citrus peel, hints of white pepper emerging with time in the glass. The palate is very harmonious with impressive weight. The acidity slices through the yellow-tinged fruit with a dab of orange zest and white pepper again on the finish or aftertaste. Excellent."
