"The 2024 Guiraud, now under the aegis of winemaker Sandrine Garbay, contains 124 g/L of residual sugar and was picked from September 20 with four tries through the vines. It has a very assured and detailed bouquet with wild honey, peach and light apricot scents, with a touch of vanilla pod tucked underneath. The palate is fresh and vibrant with a keen line of acidity, gaining weight as it moves toward the clementine-tinged finish. What a gorgeous Guiraud!"

"The 2024 Guiraud is a bold, luscious Sauternes. Apricot jam, chamomile, passion fruit, spice and burnt sugar convey notable intensity to match the wine's creamy, ample feel. Guiraud is a rich, heady Sauternes, but all the elements are impeccably balanced."
Antonio Galloni, April 2025, Vinous.com
"This shows good concentration and sweetness with a light saline character to the dried pineapple, mangoes, honey and spices. Medium to full body with medium acidity and a long, round finish."
James Suckling, May 2025, JamesSuckling.com
"Dark burnt orange gold, spiralling white flower aromatics, this is great quality, thoroughly enjoyable, subtle spiced cumin and tumeric, sweetly succulent apricot and nectarine juice without being heavy. 12.6 hl/ha yield, Sandrine Garbay estate director."

"Rich, gold hue. Nose restrained but lovely depth of fruit. Rich and concentrated on the palate. Huge depth with honey and tropical-fruit notes. Plenty of botrytis but balance as well. A stellar performance this year. "
