Critic reviews
"Oakier and spicier than its siblings from Vignobles K, the 2024 Haut-Brisson displays a somber, shy bouquet of oak and spices mingled with notes of pencil shavings. Medium-bodied, firm and compact, it's moderately weighted with brittle tannins and a firm, somewhat dry finish. The wine went into barrels at the beginning of March, likely contributing to its current brooding and austere character. This blend of 90% Merlot and 10% Cabernet Franc will mature in 35% new oak."

"The 2024 Haut Brisson was tasted from two bottles. The fruit comes across a bit confit-like on the nose and lacks the freshness of its peers. The palate is medium-bodied with rounded tannins and gentle grip. This is a little pushed—a more prudent approach might have made a better wine. Hopefully it will improve with barrel maturation."

"The 2024 Haut-Brisson is plush, round and enveloping. Super-ripe dark fruit, chocolate, new leather, licorice and copious sweet new oak all build in the glass. This is an especially unctuous, flamboyant style."
Antonio Galloni, April 2025, Vinous.com
"Good depth from this vintage and there is convincing ripeness, with dark fruit and a touch of graphite. Structured, with very good mid-palate definition and tightness. Very solid finish. 90% merlot and 10% cabernet franc."
