"The 2023 Lanessan is a bit diffuse and demonstrates some greenness on the nose. The palate is medium-bodied with fine tannins and good weight. This is actually better in the mouth, with gentle grip and a welcome spiciness on the finish. It's just the aromatics that are left wanting based on the barrel sample. It may improve by the time it is in bottle."
