"The 2024 Larrivet Haut-Brion offers up aromas of peonies, strawberries and cassis blossoms mingled with green notes. Medium-bodied, tense and lively, it's lean with brittle tannins and a firm, angular finish dominated by green notes."
Yohan Castaing, April 2025, RobertParker.com
"The 2024 Larrivet Haut-Brion feels muddled and a bit green on the nose. The palate is medium-bodied with green notes on the entry. Hard and unyielding, this feels a bit hollow on the finish. It comes across like a wine upended by the challenges of the growing season."
Neal Martin, April 2025, Vinous.com
"The 2024 Larrivet Haut-Brion is a pretty wild, idiosyncratic wine. A dollop of stems in the Merlot gives the 2024 strong aromatic presence. Deep and pliant, with terrific persistence, Larrivet has quite a bit of potential. The challenge in élevage will be preserving the vibrancy of the fruit while keeping the stem component from gaining so much that the aromas and flavors become vegetal, all while maintaining the wine's essential delicacy. Today, I am cautiously optimistic. Tasted two times."
Antonio Galloni, April 2025, Vinous.com
"A medium-bodied, juicy and velvety red with red-berry and cedar notes. Medium body and creamy tannins. Round and fleshy finish."
James Suckling, May 2025, JamesSuckling.com
"Attractive floral character, violet, iris, the lean side of Cabernet Sauvignon, good nuance, leaning into the vintage, slim and savoury but still with impact. A little overly tight in its chalky tannins, but with real charm. Last vintage of Bruno Le Moine before retirement, replaced by Charlotte Mignon. Harvest 19 September to 5 October. Gervoson family owners."
