Critic reviews
"The 2024 Malescot Saint Exupéry has a cohesive nose with ample scents of blackberry, raspberry, light violet and just a touch of cedar in the background—backward, for sure, but it unfurls in the glass. The medium-bodied palate has firm tannins, a little chewy in a pleasant way with composure and bite on the finish. This is a thoroughly enjoyable fresh Margaux that will drink earlier than the 2022."

"The 2024 Malescot Saint Exupéry is a bit brawny and rough around the edges at this early stage. Élevage will play a determinant role here. There's good energy, but the 2024 is also edgy in its contours and fragile in its balance today."
Antonio Galloni, April 2025, Vinous.com
"Aromas of violets, dark cherries and blueberries follow through to a medium-bodied palate with chewy tannins. Slightly angular, but there is a good center palate to hold the fruit. Structured, with a medium-long finish. 53% merlot, 40% cabernet sauvignon and 7% petit verdot. 50% new oak this year in contrast with 60% last year."
James Suckling, May 2025, JamesSuckling.com
"Inky in colour, roses, slate, liquorice, cassis bud, this is slim but with grip and texture, lifts through the palate and is an enjoyable if understated wine. 50% new oak. Harvest 1 to 15 October, Léa Zuger owner."
