"Ethereal, this is all about lift and perfume, showing aromas of redcurrants, wild raspberries and tobacco leaves with dried herbs and mushrooms, rainforest floor and red rose petals. The midweight palate has fine-grained tannins and a silken mouthfeel, earth and fruit seamlessly integrated. Soft and delicate yet powerful and refined. An absolute knockout with a gentle touch. Drink or hold. Screw cap."

"Fragrant and so crystal clear, so perfumed and nuanced, really this has an outstanding aromatic profile that says Cabernet Sauvignon straight away. Certainly a light, more ethereal take on Australian Cabernet where the nuance is at the fore and you need to take your time to understand what the wine is telling you. It’s graceful and on the more delicate side of the spectrum with blue berries, minty spice, dried flowers and touches of oak, all with beautiful purity. A particular success given the challenging vintage but this benefits from owner and winemaker Will Berliner’s sensitivity which is a wonderful trait. Juicy, bright, so much energy. A wine that is in a class all of its own. Wonderful. 3.85pH."

"(Margaret River; 100% Cabernet Sauvignon; 13% alcohol; just 1100 bottles produced). Lighter in extract than the other Australian offerings. Amazingly floral. So distinctive. Gladioli bulbs, hyacinth bulbs, peonies. Wild mountain herbs. So amazingly lifted. Very distinctive – even more so than usual. Extraordinary to the point that it’s difficult to pick this as Cabernet Sauvignon. Maybe not to everyone’s taste, but an incredible wine that is very much to mine! Patchouli and pink rose petals on the finish. Fresh and sapid, juicy and energetic."
