"The 2024 Domaine de l'Eglise was picked between September 20 and October 5. It was raised in 58% new oak for a planned 16 months. This has a winsome bouquet with pure blackberry and wild strawberry scents, joined by black truffle and mocha notes with aeration. The palate is medium-bodied with grainy tannins. Light but well balanced, this Pomerol has more weight on the finish compared to its stablemate, La Croix du Casse. This is a "useful" Pomerol."
