"The 2022 Corton-Bressandes Grand Cru has quite a backward, earthy nose with more black fruit and touches of graphite and cigar box. The palate is medium-bodied with a sapid entry, gentle grip, and fine tension with an impressive backbone on the finish whilst maintaining refinement. With ample length and salinity, this should grow into a fine Corton-Bressandes after being frosted 2021."

"A more elegant nose is comprised by notes of ripe red berries, kirsch, spice, violet and a hint of exotic tea. The rich, delicious and vibrant large-bodied flavors are quite generously proportioned while displaying slightly less evident minerality on the lingering if slightly warm finale. This may of course change over time but today the Corton is a bit more interesting, which is usually not the case chez Tollot. We will of course see but for today, the Corton would appear to have more potential."

"Slightly deeper in colour. The wine is a bit richer on the nose, not too flamboyant but with quite a rich dark raspberry character. Good acidity, on the cusp, though, of a touch too much ripeness. There is more too this all round though including the finish. Nathalie likes the patina of their Bressandes. Drink from 2030-2040. Tasted Oct 2023."
