"Attractive aromas and flavors of currants and walnuts with some chocolate. Medium body, medium round tannins and a savory finish. Just starting to come around now. Drink or hold."

"Undoubtedly the best of the three Dulucs, it takes a bit of the best of each of the other two. Fascinating that the colour is so different, far more vibrant purple than the other two even though only a year separates it from the 2015. This one has so much vibrancy and life to it. Bottled in early July, so almost six months ago, it is wonderfully expressive but clearly has hidden power, firm tannins, great acidity. It has that naturally unforced gourmet edge of a great vintage, and will clearly age the best of these three."
