"The 2020 Chablis Les Fourneaux 1er Cru presents a complex nose of citrus peel, red apple and crushed limestone, plus traces of white peach and a very light pastry/millefeuille scent. The palate is well balanced, taut and linear, with a saline entry. It gains weight and depth toward the finish and leaves lip-smacking salinity on the aftertaste. Excellent."

"A vague suggestion of the exotic is present on the quinine-inflected white and yellow orchard fruit aromas. There is excellent density and power to the muscular larger-scaled flavors that flirt with rusticity on the lingering and balanced finish that is also sufficiently firm to warrant at least a few years of cellaring."
Allen Meadows, October 2021, Burghound.com
"Another premier cru produced from bought-in grapes, the warmth of the vintage can be seen in the fuller, riper, fleshier style, yet this is a premier cru which has an extra layer of depth and concentration. A serious Chablis which is destined to age well."
Andy Howard, October 2021, Decanter.com
"Pale light yellow. The nose is classic middle of the road Chablis, less instantly recognisable as a specific terroir, but opens out really well with a little touch of acidity to finish. Very attractive all round Chablis 1er Cru."
