"With a fresh and delicately fruity bouquet, the 2024 L'Esprit de Chevalier Blanc reveals aromas of confit citrus, flowers and almonds. Light to medium-bodied, round and supple, it's elegant with a juicy mid-palate that leads to a gently bitter finish. This is a real classic at this address."
Yohan Castaing, April 2025, RobertParker.com

"The 2024 L'Esprit de Chevalier was cropped at 48 hl/ha between September 20 and October 8. This has a subtle, well-defined nose, with a mixture of black cherries, blueberries, and hints of cassis. The palate is medium-bodied with sappy black fruit, fine grip and a very small attenuation toward the finish but I appreciate the lingering, black olive-tinged aftertaste. Drink this over the next decade."
Neal Martin, April 2025, Vinous.com

"The 2024 L’Esprit de Chevalier Blanc is a tasty second wine. Pliant and supple, with lovely forward fruit, L'Esprit has a lot to offer. Bright floral top notes extend the fine, saline finish. This is all class."
Antonio Galloni, April 2025, Vinous.com

"A juicy, crunchy expression with red cherries, berries and olives. Nicely chewy, with a medium body and a succulent, medium-long finish. 60% cabernet sauvignon, 35% merlot and 5% petit verdot."
James Suckling, May 2025, JamesSuckling.com

"Plenty of impact, clear from the first nose, this is a little slim and savoury, rose bud and cassis bud, enjoyable if skirting ripeness. 30% new oak for ageing, harvest 20 September to 8 October. 3.61 pH. 48 hl/ha yield."
