"""Full bottle 1,619 g. 40% Pinot Noir, 40% Chardonnay, 20% Pinot Meunier from Henry and Kaye Laithwaite's 6.5-ha vineyard in Marlow, Buckinghamshire. Organic farming. 30% barrel fermentation. 30 months sur lattes. TA 8.3 g/l, dosage 9.7 g/l. Bottled 10 May 2021, disgorged 6 September 2024. = There is always an ampleness to the H&H Reserve Brut – a hug in a mug, except it's a wine glass. And the roundness comes with a scythe of English acidity to make sure that boundaries are respected. Lemon chiffon cake, cheesecake and a cheeky slice of pineapple before the fizzing busy buzzy bustle of bubbles that carry all the flavours happily, chattily on their shoulders. This is such a drink-me wine and I reckon it would be good with everything from cheese toasties at the kitchen table to high tea at the Ritz. ""
